The Fair Work Ombudsman is responsible for the provision of advice, assistance, information and education to individuals and employers – Fair Work Ombudsman. Fair Work Australia is an independent, national tribunal dealing with employment issues including industrial dispute resolution, unfair and unlawful dismissal, awards and industrial action.
SafeWork SA is the South Australian Government’s workplace relations and workplace health and safety administration body. The website is comprehensive and provides some great resources on many work related topics including the issuing of Licenses, Permits and Registrations for a variety of occupations and business activities.

Migration
In Australia the Commonwealth government, through the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC), is responsible for processing and issuing visas for Australia.
